This adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule. Over the next two weeks, you’ll trek through diverse terrains, exploring iconic villages like Manang, Thorong Phedi, and Jomsom. The Thorong La Pass is the highest point of the journey, followed by a descent to Muktinath and Tatopani. The trek concludes with a drive to Pokhara, where you can unwind by the serene Phewa Lake.

Day 1: Travel from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m / 2,492ft)

Travel Time: 6–8 hours (190 km / 118 miles)
Following breakfast, we begin our adventure with a scenic drive to Besisahar, heading west from the Kathmandu Valley. The route traces the Trishuli River and offers stunning glimpses of terraced fields, remote villages, and majestic views of the Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges.

Day 2: Journey from Besisahar to Chame (2,710m / 8,890ft)

Driving Time: 7–8 hours (66.5km / 41.3 miles)
We continue by local bus, heading north along the Marsyangdi River. En route, we pass through tranquil forests and farmland, stopping briefly in Dharapani (1,860m) to register permits. The journey continues to Chame, the administrative center of Manang District, with access to natural hot springs and spectacular views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal.

Day 3: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300m / 10,826ft)

 Distance: 13.2km / 8.2 miles
Trekking Time: 5–6 hours
We start trekking along a deep, narrow gorge, eventually reaching the dramatic Paungda Danda rock formation. Views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak accompany us as we descend to the wide Manang Valley and arrive at Upper Pisang.

Day 4: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft)

Distance: 17km / 10.6 miles
Trekking Time: 5–6 hours
Opting for the high trail via the village of Ghyaru, we are treated to sweeping views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The terrain becomes increasingly dry as we pass Tibetan-influenced villages, eventually arriving in Manang, where we visit the prominent Barge Monastery.

Day 5: Trek from Manang to Ledar via Yak Kharka (4,250m / 13,943ft)

Distance: 9.4km / 5.8 miles
Trekking Time: 3–4 hours
Today’s climb leads through Tanki Manang and the windswept village of Gunsang. As we gain altitude, vegetation thins and the landscape opens into alpine pastures at Yak Kharka. A short walk from here brings us to Ledar.

Day 6: Trek from Ledar to Thorong High Camp (4,925m / 16,158ft)

Distance: 7.3km / 4.53 miles
Trekking Time: 4–5 hours
We cross the Jarsang River and reach Phedi before ascending the final stretch to Thorong High Camp. This shorter trek day helps with acclimatization.

Day 7: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,756ft) to Muktinath (3,760m / 12,623ft)

 Distance: 15.6km / 9.6 miles
Trekking Time: ~9 hours
We rise early for the climb over Thorong La, the trek’s highest point. Panoramic Himalayan views greet us at the top. A long descent brings us to the sacred village of Muktinath, a revered pilgrimage site with 108 water spouts and a continuously burning flame.

Day 8: Drive from Muktinath to Jomsom to Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft)

Driving Time: 3–4 hours (113km / 70 miles)
A scenic descent by vehicle brings us to Jomsom, a major Mustang town, and further on to Tatopani. The road winds through the Kali Gandaki Gorge—the deepest in the world. At Tatopani, enjoy a soak in the natural hot springs.

Day 9: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (850m / 2,788ft)

Driving Time: 6–7 hours (197km / 122 miles)
We leave the hills behind as we journey to the lakeside city of Pokhara. Along the way, we pass Beni and lush lowland scenery. Upon arrival, explore the city's vibrant cafes and lake views.

Day 10: Return Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,450ft)

Driving Time: 6–7 hours (200km / 124 miles)
Our final day on the road traces the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers back to Kathmandu. With beautiful landscapes all the way, this drive marks the end of an unforgettable journey.
