Along the way, you’ll encounter charming Gurung and Magar villages, rich in culture and hospitality. Annapurna Base Camp itself is a spectacular amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks, making it a trekker's paradise.
This 12-day trek begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, followed by trekking through picturesque villages like Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, and Chhomrong. The trail gradually ascends through forests and pastures, reaching the spectacular Annapurna Base Camp. After enjoying the awe-inspiring views, the trek descends through Bamboo and Jhinu Danda, where you can relax in natural hot springs. The journey concludes with a return to Pokhara.
Do I need prior trekking experience for this trek?
While prior trekking experience is not mandatory, it is recommended to have a moderate level of physical fitness and the ability to walk 5-7 hours a day on uneven terrain. Acclimatization days are included to help with altitude adjustment.
Are there any risks of altitude sickness on this trek?
